Moon in Aries

Lunar Arians are known for their quick, fiery tempers. However, their tempers tend to die down just as quickly as they begin. It is not uncommon to see a Moon in Aries person furious one minute and completely back to normal the next. Aries is a sign that tends to act before thinking, so emotional reactions can get ahead of them. They may regret their outbursts later, once they have calmed down and are able to look at the situation more rationally.

Moon in Aries people are not usually prone to holding grudges. They live in the moment, so something that bothered them a week, month, or year ago may no longer matter to them in the present.

Aries is associated with the child, so people with this Moon placement can sometimes be emotionally immature or self-focused. Impatience is another common characteristic. They want what they want, and they want it now. They tend to seek immediate emotional and physical gratification.

Lunar Arians can bore easily and may struggle with situations that feel stagnant or restrictive. They can be passionate and enthusiastic at the beginning of a relationship or project, but maintaining that excitement over the long term requires stimulation and variety.

These individuals do not shy away from confrontation. In fact, a good argument can be invigorating for Moon in Aries. They would generally rather express their anger openly than quietly hold resentment inside.

Moon in Taurus

As an Earth sign, Moon in Taurus needs stability, security, and physical comfort. These individuals have strong appetites for pleasure and tend to appreciate good food, physical affection, beautiful surroundings, and the comforts of life.

Stability is particularly important to them emotionally. They are not usually spontaneous when it comes to major emotional decisions and prefer to feel that they are standing on solid ground before making a commitment.

Do not try to rush a Moon in Taurus person into anything. Pressure tends to make them dig their heels in. They prefer to move at their own pace, but once they make a commitment, they tend to take it seriously.

Gemini rules the lower mind, so people with this placement tend to be interested in information, conversation, gossip, and the exchange of ideas. They need mental stimulation in order to feel emotionally engaged.

Moon in Gemini people are emotionally adaptable. They can change their opinions and reactions quickly, sometimes making it difficult for others to know exactly how they feel. They are often very good at understanding what other people want to hear, but may have more difficulty identifying and expressing their own emotional needs.

Because of their sensitivity, they are easily hurt and may struggle to establish emotional boundaries. They can become overly dependent on others when they do not feel secure within themselves.

Moon in Pisces people sometimes develop a tough exterior as a way of protecting their inner vulnerability. Beneath that exterior, however, they tend to be highly compassionate and emotionally receptive.

Ruled by Neptune, Pisces can be unrealistic and impractical when dealing with emotional issues. These individuals may idealize people or situations and have difficulty seeing things objectively when their emotions are involved.

Nevertheless, they are deeply romantic and idealistic. They often want to believe in the best in people and may be willing to sacrifice their own needs to help someone they care about.

The tendency to play the martyr can become a problem when they continually take on other people’s suffering or try to save people who are unwilling to save themselves.
