The Astrology of Break-Ups and Divorce: A Complete Guide

Divorce can be very hard to predict, but astrology can help us determine what kinds of aspects would make a divorce more likely. In this article, we discuss which aspects can point to divorce in the natal chart and composite chart, as well as transits and progressions that point to breakups and separation.

Natal chart aspects:

Uranus

The planet Uranus represents freedom, change, and independence. When it is connected to the 7th house, an erratic and unpredictable romantic life is indicated. Some people with strong Uranus in their charts don’t bother marrying at all, while others opt for unconventional relationships. Many Uranian folks also tend to get into on-off relationships that start and end very quickly. As a result, Uranus is usually strongly connected to the 7th house of divorcees.

Here are some aspects to look out for:

  • Uranus in the 7th house: Uranus is the planet or freedom, unpredictability and instability, so its presence in the 7th house of partnership can indicate divorce
  • Uranus in hard aspect to the Ascendant: Uranus conjunct, square or opposite the Ascendant can indicate unstable relationships and quick beginnings and endings.
  • Uranus in hard aspect to the ruler of the 7th house
  • Uranus in hard aspect to a planet in the 7th house
  • Uranus in hard aspect to Venus

Examples:

  • Kim Kardashian’s 7th house ruler, Mercury, is conjunct her natal Uranus
  • Kanye West’s 7th house ruler, Saturn, is square his natal Uranus
  • Ariana Grande’s Uranus is exactly conjunct her Ascendant, and opposes her 7th house Mercury
  • Elizabeth Taylor has an exact Venus-Uranus conjunction
  • Brad Pitt has Uranus square Ascendant
  • Kris Jenner’s 7th house ruler, Neptune, is square Uranus
  • Angelina Jolie ‘s Ascendant and Venus are square Uranus
  • Ben Affleck’s Ascendant and Venus are square Uranus

Neptune

The planet Neptune represents dreams, illusions, and deception. When it is connected to the 7th house, an very romantic and spiritual romantic life is indicated. It indicates the native is very idealistic when it comes to love and romance, and tend to see their partners through rose-colored glasses. The native tends to fall in love with who they think or hope their partner is, rather than who they actually are. Neptunian individuals tend to see the best in others and ignore red flags, leading to much disappointment later on.

It is thus unsurprising strong Neptune contacts are commonly seen in the charts of divorcees.

Here are some aspects to look out for:

  • Neptune in the 7th house: Neptune is the planet of illusions, deception and dreams, so its presence in the 7th house of partnership can lead to separation
  • Neptune in hard aspect to the Ascendant: Neptune conjunct, square or opposite the Ascendant can indicate idealistic and unrealistic relationships
  • Neptune in hard aspect to the ruler of the 7th house
  • Neptune in hard aspect to a planet in the 7th house
  • Neptune in hard aspect to Venus

Examples:

  • Ariana Grande’s Neptune is exactly conjunct her Ascendant, opposite her 7th house Mercury
  • Nicole Kidman’s Venus is square Neptune
  • Liz Taylor’s 7th house ruler, Mercury, is opposite Neptune
  • Kim Kardashian’s Venus is square Neptune
  • Jennifer Garner’s 7th house ruler, Saturn, is opposite Neptune

Jupiter

Jupiter was strongly in some of the divorce charts I looked at, although not as strongly as Uranus and Neptune. Jupiter is the sign of abundance, so when it is associated with the 7th house, it can point to someone who will have several relationships throughout their life. This does not necessarily mean divorce, but it can indicate several marriages, especially if the individual has other divorce aspects in their chart.

Aspects to consider:

  • Jupiter in hard aspect to Venus
  • Jupiter in hard aspect to 7th house ruler
  • Jupiter in the 7th house

Pluto

Pluto was featured strongly in some of the divorce charts I looked at, as well. Pluto is the sign of death and rebirth, so it makes sense that some divorcees have this planet connected to their 7th house.  In the worst case, it is often betrayal, abuse, and/or power struggles that breaks the couple apart.

Aspects to consider:

  • Pluto in hard aspect to 7th house ruler
  • Pluto in hard aspect to Venus
  • Pluto in the 7th house

Synastry & Composite

Whether a couple gets divorced can be seen via the Composite chart.

What about Synastry? In my opinion, the Composite chart paints a more accurate picture of divorce potential in a chart. Why? Synastry shows how you affect each others, and how you feel each other, while the Composite is the chart of the relationship itself. In astrology, the relationship is a separate entity in itself, so we can determine the ultimate fate of a relationship more accurately.

As with natal chart aspects, Uranus and Neptune aspects are largely seen in the Composite Charts of divorced couples.

This is because Uranus represents instability and unpredictability, which can lead to abrupt endings and beginnings. The relationship is usually very exciting and refreshing, but also unreliable and frustrating. These types of relationships tend to begin out of the blue, and usually bring together two people who are not each other’s usual type. Feelings develop quickly, but unfortunately might dissipate very quickly, leading to an abrupt end.

Composite Uranus aspects to look out for:

  • Composite 7th house ruler in hard aspect to the Composite Uranus: This indicates a relationship that is erratic, unstable, unpredictable, yet exciting and unconventional. When Composite Uranus is conjunct, square or opposite the Composite 7th house ruler, the commitment between the partners can be shaky and unreliable.
  • Composite Uranus in the 7th house: The 7th house represents commitment and partnership, so having Composite Uranus in this house can indicate a lack of long-term commitment, especially if it makes unfavourable aspects to the 1st or 7th house ruler(s).
  • Composite Uranus in hard aspect to the Ascendant: This aspect points to disruptions, unpredictability, and instability in the relationship, and can result in abrupt beginnings and endings.

Examples:

  • Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Composite 7th house ruler, Mars, is square Uranus
  • Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Composite Uranus sits exactly on their Composite Ascendant, opposite their Composite Mercury on the Descendant.

Neptune tends to cloud our judgement to the point we ignore enormous red flags waving in our faces.  Under Neptune’s influence, we are wearing rose-colored glasses and feel we have found our soulmate in our partner. This planet is sweet, loving, and fantasy-like, which is intoxicating and addictive to each partner.

Unfortunately, Neptune is strongly featured in the composite charts of couples where one, or both, of the partners eventually feels deceived by the other. Self-deception is perhaps an even stronger problem in these cases. In the end, these relationships can end in much disappointment and heartbreak, and a feeling the marriage was based on a lie. Now, Neptune does not guarantee a divorce, but it at least points to some deception (or self-deception) and disappointments along the way. In fact, it is possible the couple will separate and reunite many times due to the dreamy, fantasy-like connection they share.

  • Composite 7th house ruler in hard aspect to the Composite Neptune: This indicates a relationship that is idealistic and spiritual, but also illusory, deceptive, and confusing. When Composite Neptune is conjunct, square or opposite the Composite 7th house ruler, a lack of boundaries and honesty with each others can lead to Tdisappointment and separation later on
  • Composite Neptune in the 7th house: The 7th house represents commitment and partnership, so having Composite Neptune in this house can indicate loose boundaries and commitment issues, but it can also indicate a beautiful and idealistic relationship. How Neptune is aspected is very important, so assess the aspects to Composite Neptune in detail.
  • Composite Neptune in hard aspect to the Ascendant: This aspect can indicate confusion, lack of boundaries, and dishonesty in the relationship, which can lead to disappointment and separation.

Examples:

  • Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton’s Composite 7th house ruler, Venus, is opposite Neptune
  • Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Composite 7th house ruler, Mars, is square Composite Neptune

Transits & Progressions

There are several transits and progressions that can point to a separation or divorce. If someone is going through a divorce, they will be able to see it in their transits and Progressions.

Transits

Uranus transits to relationship points indicate sudden and unexpected separations and breakups

  • Transiting Uranus in hard aspect the 7th house ruler
  • Transiting Uranus in hard aspect to the Ascendant (conjunct, square, opposite)
  • Transiting Uranus in the 7th house
  • Transiting Uranus in hard aspect to Venus

Neptune transits to relationship points indicate confusion, deception, and disillusionment, which can lead to separations and breakups

  • Transiting Neptune in hard aspect to the 7th house ruler
  • Transiting Neptune in hard aspect to the Ascendant (conjunct, square, opposite)
  • Transiting Neptune in the 7th house
  • Transiting Neptune in hard aspect to Venus

Pluto is the planet of death and transformation. When it touches a relationship point in your chart, your partnership transforms in some way, sometimes in the form of a separation or divorce.

  • Transiting Pluto in hard aspect to the 7th house
  • Transiting Pluto in hard aspect to the Ascendant (conjunct, square, opposite)
  • Transiting Pluto in the 7th house
  • Transiting Pluto in hard aspect to Venus

Saturn transits are like the “final nail on the coffin” transits that forces a final decision to split.

  • Transiting Saturn in hard aspect the 7th house ruler
  • Transiting Saturn in hard aspect to the Ascendant (conjunct, square, opposite)
  • Transiting Saturn in the 7th house
  • Transiting Saturn in hard aspect to Venus

Progressions

There are so many progressions that can point to relationship changes. Progressions usually mirror transits, so you will often see the same planets involved in both charts. For example, my progressed Venus was square my natal Saturn when I went through a break up. On the day we broke up, transiting Saturn was exactly square my natal Venus.

Examples of what to look for in the progressed-to-progressed chart (this is not an exhaustive list):

  • Hard aspects between the progressed Descendant and progressed Saturn Uranus, Pluto, or Neptune (for example, progressed Ascendant conjunct progressed Pluto)
  • Hard aspects from progressed 7th house ruler to progressed Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, or Neptune
  • Progressed Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, Neptune in hard aspect to planet in the progressed 7th house

I personally love looking at the progressed chart on its own, as it paints a picture of the present and gives us a lot of insight into upcoming events.

Natal to progressed aspects are also very important to consider, as they also offer great insights and information.

Examples of what to look for in the natal-to-progressed chart (this is not an exhaustive list):

  • Hard aspects between the natal Descendant and progressed Saturn Uranus, Pluto, or Neptune (for example, progressed Saturn conjunct natal Descendant)
  • Progressed Descendant in hard aspect to natal Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, Neptune
  • Hard aspects from natal 7th house ruler to progressed Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, or Neptune
  • Progressed Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, Neptune in hard aspect to planet in the natal 7th house

The Astrology of Lone Wolves: Why Some People Prefer Solitude

I consider a lone wolf as someone who prefers being on their own. People enjoy being alone for different reasons: some enjoy freedom and independence, while others are introverted and find people exhausting.

What aspects point to a Lone Wolf in a natal chart?

Planets in 12th house

Natal Planets (particularly inner planets and 1st house ruler) in the 12th house indicates someone who greatly prefers being on their own. In fact, people with this placement NEED to be alone. This is one of the strongest signs of introversion, as it indicates the native feels very drained by social interaction.

Whenever a planet in the 12th house person socializes too much, they get exhausted and need to retreat into their cave to recharge their batteries. The 12th house is a very sensitive house, and having planets there increases a person’s sensitivity to others. 12th house people easily pick up on the moods and feelings of those around them, which can make socializing for long periods very difficult and emotionally taxing.

Pisces is the natural ruler of the 12th house, so strong Pisces aspects can also signify someone who requires a lot of time alone.

Strong Uranus Aspects

Strong Uranus aspects in the natal chart point to someone very independent and individualistic. Uranus represents freedom and detachment, as well as eccentricity and unpredictability.

People with strong Uranus in their charts are usually enjoy being on their own, and generally have a detached view of relationships. Freedom is of utmost importance to them, so they tend to dislike when others are dependent or reliant on them. When people get too close, Uranus-heavy people feel easily smothered and want to escape.

I personally have Sun conjunct Uranus in my chart, and I feel very stifled by others. I prefer doing things on my own, because it gives me the freedom to do whatever I want. In general, I do not like depending on others, as it makes me feel trapped.

Aquarius Placements

Uranus is the natural ruler of the sign Aquarius, so people born in this sign can have lone wolf qualities. Aquarius is an impersonal, independent, freedom-loving sign, and dance to the beat of their own drum.

While they love spending time with friends and being a part of a group, Aquarius people are very independent and enjoy being on their own. Aquarius is an eccentric and quirky sign, and being alone allows Aquarius to let out their inner weird without judgement.

Strong Cancer or 4th House Placements

Cancer represents the home and family, as well as caring and nurturing. In general, I find that people born in this sign are often very private and reclusive. As with all water signs, Cancer is a sensitive sign, and pick up on the moods and feelings of others easily. As such, it makes sense they require time to themselves to recharge. As Cancer is the natural ruler of the 4th house, people born in this sign enjoy spending time at home most of all; it is where they feel most safe and secure.

I personally know 3 Cancer women very well, and they all live out in the wilderness (with their partners), and spend a lot of time alone in nature.

People with planets in the 4th house (especially Sun and Moon) are similar to those with Cancer placements, in that they enjoy spending time at home. Home is where 4th house people feel most comfortable and secure, so they might not enjoy going out at all.

Saturn in 11th House

Saturn in the 11th house can point to difficulties with friends and groups. With this placement, it is easy to feel alienated when you are in a crowd, which can make socializing and maintaining relationships very difficult.

People with Saturn in the 11th house take friendships very seriously. Perhaps, too seriously! Saturn represents responsibility and duty, so friendships can sometimes feel burdensome. As a result, the native might prefer being on their own rather than deal with the responsibility of friendship.

With this placement, group activities can feel awkward, as the native never feels they quite fit in with others.

Scorpio or 8th House Placements

Scorpio is an intensely private and not trust others easily. As the ruler of the 8th house of deep intimacy and transformation, Scorpio is not fond of superficiality. Instead, they look for real, authentic connections.

As a result, Scorpio or 8th house heavy people can be quite introverted until they find people they can trust.

Would you consider yourself a Lone Wolf? What aspects and placements do you have?

Neptune in the 1st House: The Chameleon Personality

Neptune is the planet of dreams, illusions, deception, spirituality, and compassion. It is the natural ruler of the 12th house and Pisces.

The house placement of your natal Neptune shows where you are elusive or idealistic, whether you mean to be or not! Not only does Neptune lead to deceiving others, but it usually begins with self-deception. Neptune is cloudy, hazy, and vague, so we have trouble understanding the Neptune influences in our charts, as well.

In this article, I discuss what it’s like to have Neptune in the 1st house.

Check out my new books, Cosmic Fortune: The Astrology of Lottery Winners , Predict Love with Astrology, and  Fall In Love with Astrology!

What is the 1st house?

The first house represents our outer self. It is the face we wear when we face the world, and what others see when they first meet you. The first house represents our appearance, clothing, and our expressions. It is the mask through which everything in our lives is filtered.

What is Neptune?

As mentioned before, Neptune is the natural ruler of the 12th house and Pisces. It has a vague and confusing energy, as Neptune, by nature, is very hard to define or pin down. This planet rules everything dreamy, ethereal, and other-worldly. Neptune rules illusions and fantasy, and represents the area you experience the most confusion, deception, and perhaps the ways you deceive others.

multicolor galaxy sky clouds stars astrologyImage by rawpixel.com on Freepik

Neptune is dreamy and spiritual, but can bring clouds of confusion

Neptune in the first house

This subject is personal to me because I have this aspect in my own natal chart! My Neptune is in Capricorn, and given how long Neptune stays in one sign, everyone born within a few years of me has their Neptune in my first house, as well. How does this affect my life?

Go with the Flow…

Neptune is a very sensitive and adaptable planet, so people with this planet in their first house tend to project a very gentle, dreamy vibe. As the natural ruler of Pisces, Neptune likes to ‘go with the flow’ and is relatively agreeable in nature.

Further to this, Neptune in the first house indicates someone who is very adaptable to new situations. Neptune likes peace and tranquility, so Neptune in the first house natives are unlikely to rock the boat. Others see them as gentle, sweet, and compassionate people.

Sensitivity

With Neptune in the 1st house, you are a very sensitive person. You pick up on the moods and vibes of others easily, and usually feel uncomfortable with conflict and confrontation.

This, coupled with your vulnerable and dreamy physical appearance, may lead people to believe it is easy to take advantage of you. People with this aspect must be very careful and steer clear of deceptive people who want to use or abuse them. There may be a tendency to attract narcissistic or needy types who drain you, as well.

As a result, Neptune in the 1st house people need a lot of time alone to recharge from the outer world. They absorb a lot from their environments, so it is extremely important to take care of themselves by taking a break.

Social Chameleon…

Given the chameleon-like nature of Neptune, you might show different people different sides of you. As a result, you may end up feeling no one knows who you really are. For example, my best friends describe me as a Type-A, clean-freak, “prim and proper” type.  This could not be further from the truth.

Why do they think this? Are they projecting onto me, or have I unknowingly displayed these qualities to them?

Neptune is sensitive and empathetic, but I think there is also a bit of a people-pleasing element to it, as well.

Perhaps people are projecting their fantasies or ideals onto me, and I can feel this, so I play along so as to not disappoint them.

Lack of self-definition…

With Neptune in the 1st house, it can also be difficult for YOU to know the real you! Above, I talked about the tendency for other people to project qualities onto you. You might project different energies to different people, depending on your intuition.

But… Do you know who you really are?

While you adapt to new situations and people easily, it can be difficult for you to know your true self under all of those other projections. When someone asks you, “Who are you?”, what do you say? Is it easy for you to answer, or do you get stumped?

“You Look Lost”…

I want to know: How many Neptune in the 1st house people hear the phrase “You look lost” regularly?

Personally, this happens to me a lot.

Neptune gives off a very dreamy, confused vibe, so you might attract those who want to help you in some way. You might subconsciously project an air of helplessness or vulnerability without meaning to. For instance, my ex told me I look very ‘fragile’ – I’m not sure why that is! I also find that others tend to misread my signals or moods regularly, which is very frustrating, as I always feel I need to explain myself to others.

Glamorous Beauty…

In addition to “looking lost”, the placement of Neptune in the 1st house can manifest in many ways in regards to one’s appearance. Most with this placement give off a mysterious and glamourous vibe to others.

Neptune is the natural ruler of Pisces, which opposes Virgo. Virgoan beauty is clean, natural, and uncomplicated, while Pisces beauty is just the opposite.

It is not uncommon to see Neptune in the 1st house of models and celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Marilyn Monroe, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Cruise, and Cristiano Ronaldo.  Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, so this placement can endow the native with glamorous, ethereal, other-worldly beauty.

At the same time, Neptune can indicate major body dysmorphia, given the confusing and deceptive energy of the planet. There is also a strong self-consciousness about one’s image and appearance.

As a result, people with this placement might turn to make-up and cosmetic procedures so that they can live up to their ideal beauty standards. There may be a tendency to hide your true physical self with this aspect.

The Astrology of Billionaires: Natal Chart Indicators of Wealth

In this article, I take a look at the charts of 5 famous billionaires to help what indicates massive wealth in a natal chart.

Which houses rule wealth?

  • The 2nd house rules income and personal assets
  • The 8th house rules money earned through partnership and windfalls (inheritance, gifts)
  • The 11th house rules money accumulated through business and career
stacks of money in a pile

I based this article on a handful of billionaires who all made their money through business ventures (which is the way most billionaires make their money – other than inheritance!).  Here are a few common threads I found:

Pluto is strongly associated with the 11th house

This one is most important!

Examples:

    • Pluto makes a strong aspect (square, opposition, conjunction) to the ruler of the 11th house
    • Pluto rules the 11th house
    • Pluto is in the 11th house
    • The ruler of the 11th house in Scorpio
    • Pluto makes an aspect to 11th house planet

The 11th house represents our dreams, long-terms goals, and the wealth we acquire after much hard work and dedication. The 11th house is the second house from the 10th house, so it literally indicates the income tied to a business. As such, it is not surprising that it plays such a role in the charts of billionaires.

Pluto’s association with the 11th house indicates a potential for extreme wealth through ones business

    • For example, Venus rules the 11th house of Elon Musk and Bill Gates, and both men have Venus square Pluto in their charts

Pluto is strongly associated with the 2nd house

Examples:

    • Pluto makes a strong aspect (square, opposition, conjunction) to the ruler of the 2nd house
    • Pluto rules the 2nd house
    • Pluto in the 2nd house
    • The ruler of the 2nd house in Scorpio
    • Pluto makes aspect to 2nd house planet

The 2nd house rules income and material possessions. Pluto in this house indicates extremes and transformations in this area.

    • For example, Bill Gates and Oprah both have Pluto in the 2nd house

Jupiter makes a strong aspect to the ruler of the 11th house, or a planet in the 11th house

In addition to Pluto, Jupiter also plays a role here. Jupiter is the planet of abundance and excess, so it makes sense that it factors so strongly into the charts of billionaires.

    • For example, Bill Gates’ Jupiter is square his Venus, which rules his 11th house
    • Elon’s 11th house Saturn is opposite his Jupiter.

Jupiter associated with the 2nd house

Since Jupiter is related to excess and expansion, its association with your 2nd house or second house ruler can indicate wealth

    • For example Warren Buffet’s Uranus, which rules his 2nd house, is square Jupiter. Bill Gates has Jupiter in his 2nd house

Let’s take a deeper dive into the charts of a few billionaires:

Elon Musk

Elon’s second house ruler is the Sun, which resides in his first house. This means he is primarily driven by money and financial security, which is a good indicator of someone wealthy.

The ruler of his 11th house is Venus.

His Venus is square Pluto. Taurus rules his 11th house, which ties hopes and dreams to material wealth. Pluto is the sign of extremes, transformation and overall change, so its square to Elon’s 11th house means he was meant to undergo a huge change to his finances at some point in his life.

Mars is in Elon’s 8th house, which indicates that he puts much energy into the acquisition of possessions, but he does not do so alone. The 8th house is about shared resources, including windfalls and inheritances. Mars rules his 10th house of business, so this aspect indicates shared resources from business.

Given all of this information, it makes sense that his first million dollars came from selling a jointly-owned company. Interestingly enough, his Progressed Mars retrograde was exactly conjunct his natal Mars when he made this sale, which tells us Mars is a power planet in Elon’s financial world.

Moreover, Jupiter squares his natal 8th house Mars. Jupiter is the sign of expansion and luck, so its square to his natal Mars indicates a large fortune for Elon.

Finally, Saturn is in the 11th house of Elon’s chart. This house represents one’s dreams, hopes and aspirations, so Saturn’s presence in this house represents making his dreams into a reality. Jupiter also opposes Saturn from the 5th house, which indicates Elon has big dreams, with big payoffs.

Jeff Bezos

Let’s look at Jeff’s 11th house: His Venus and Saturn are conjunct there. So, again, we have Saturn in the 11th house, just like Elon! Again, this aspect can indicates making one’s dreams a reality. Saturn rules his 10th house, so it makes sense that his massive wealth comes from his business (10th house)

What about Venus? Venus rules his 2nd house and 7th house, and is located in his 11th house. Having the ruler of the 2nd house in the 11th house is a good indication of wealth, because it links your income (2nd house) to your dreams and goals.

Moreover, the ruler of his 11th house, Uranus, is conjunct Pluto. Again, Pluto transforms what it touches, so its conjunction to his 11th house ruler indicates an extreme transformation related to his hopes and dreams will take place in his life.

Bill Gates

Bill’s chart is very straightforward when it comes to his wealth.

In the second house, we see he has Jupiter conjunct Pluto, which indicates massive wealth potential. Jupiter rules expansion and excess, while Pluto rules transformation, so Bill was meant to acquire an extremely large amount of wealth in his life.

The Jupiter/Pluto conjunction square his Venus/Saturn conjunction in his 5th house. Venus is the ruler of his 11th house, so again we see a connection between the 11th house and Pluto. Moreover, his Venus is in transformative Scorpio!

Warren Buffett

Let’s take a look at his money houses:

Warren’s 11th house is ruled by Pluto, and Pluto is widely conjunct his natal Jupiter in the seventh house. This indicates a lot of luck for Warren when it comes to realizing his dreams and goals.

Moreover, his Pluto squares Venus (there it is again!), and squares his natal Uranus! So, again, Pluto is making a hard aspect to his 11th house ruler.

Oprah

The Ruler of Oprah’s 11th house, Saturn, is in Scorpio in the 8th house. Thus, there is a strong link between Oprah’s 11th house of long term goals and wealth and her 8th house of transformation and extremes.

Moreover, her Saturn (the ruler of her 11th house) is square her natal Jupiter, which expands the wealth and excess described in her chart.

Oprah also has Pluto conjunct Venus in the 2nd house, along with her Sun, Mercury, and North Node. This again points to much activity and transformation related to her income.

Finally, the ruler of her 2nd house, Mars, is conjunct her natal Jupiter! This links her house of income with the excess and luck of Jupiter.

Do you have any of these aspects in your chart?

Saturn in the 12 Houses: A Complete Astrology Guide

Your natal Saturn tells you where you feel the most lack, restriction or responsibility. Saturn is not a ‘fun’ planet, but it tells you the area of your life that you feel more difficulty than others.

In addition to house placement, check how Saturn aspects your natal planet and angles to get more clues on how Saturn affects you. If Saturn makes a harsh aspect to one of your planets, check which planet/house it resides in, and what house that planet rules in your chart for more clues on how Saturn affects you.

Saturn represents responsibility, discipline, limitations, fears, and the lessons we must learn throughout life. The house Saturn occupies shows the area where we may experience delays, challenges, or feelings of restriction. However, Saturn is also the planet of mastery. With patience, persistence, and hard work, Saturn placements often become some of our greatest strengths over time.

Saturn in the 1st House

The 1st house represents your identity, appearance, and the way you present yourself to the world. With Saturn in the 1st house, you may come across as serious, reserved, or mature beyond your years.

Others may initially find you intimidating or difficult to approach, even though this is not your intention. You may be highly self-conscious about your appearance, personality, or the way others perceive you. There can be a fear of expressing your individuality, especially when you are younger.

You tend to take yourself and life seriously. You may be cautious about opening up to others and prefer to observe people before allowing them into your inner world. However, this placement often gives a strong sense of responsibility, maturity, and self-discipline.

Over time, Saturn in the 1st house becomes more comfortable with self-expression. Many people with this placement become more confident as they age because they slowly learn to accept themselves without needing external validation.

Saturn in the 2nd House

The 2nd house represents money, possessions, values, and self-worth. Saturn in this house can indicate delays or challenges regarding financial security and confidence.

Building wealth may require patience and consistent effort. You may feel that money comes slowly or that you have to work harder than others to achieve financial stability. This can create fears around scarcity or a belief that you are never doing enough.

Because the 2nd house also represents self-worth, you may struggle with recognizing your own talents and abilities. You might underestimate yourself or feel you need to prove your value.

However, Saturn rewards dedication. With time, this placement can create excellent financial discipline, responsible spending habits, and the ability to build long-term security.

Saturn in the 3rd House

The 3rd house represents communication, learning, siblings, and your immediate environment. Saturn in this house can indicate insecurity around expressing your thoughts and ideas.

You may worry about being judged, misunderstood, or saying the wrong thing. As a result, you might be quiet or reserved, especially when you are younger.

This placement can indicate challenges involving siblings, neighbours, or early education. You may have experienced feeling isolated from siblings or struggled with confidence in school.

However, Saturn in the 3rd house often creates a careful and thoughtful communicator. You take your time forming opinions and prefer speaking when you have something meaningful to say. With age, this placement can produce a very skilled writer, researcher, or teacher.

Saturn in the 4th House

The 4th house represents family, childhood, home, and emotional foundations. Saturn in this house can indicate feelings of distance or responsibility within the family.

You may have felt that you had to grow up quickly as a child or take on responsibilities at a young age. Some people with this placement experience a strict parent, an emotionally unavailable parent, or a feeling of not fully belonging within their family.

There may be a complicated relationship with your past, traditions, or family history. You might feel disconnected from your roots or carry emotional burdens from childhood.

However, Saturn in the 4th house can create someone who builds a very stable and secure home later in life. You may become the person who creates the emotional foundation you wished you had growing up.

Saturn in the 5th House

The 5th house represents creativity, romance, pleasure, children, and self-expression. Saturn in this house can create feelings of restriction in these areas.

You may struggle to relax, have fun, or fully express your creativity without feeling guilty. You may be uncomfortable being the centre of attention or showing your playful side.

This placement can indicate delays or challenges involving romance or children. You may take love very seriously and avoid casual relationships.

However, Saturn in the 5th house can create incredible creative discipline. You may not be someone who creates constantly, but when you do, your work can be meaningful and long-lasting.

However, you may become overly focused on productivity and struggle to relax. There can be a tendency to be too strict with yourself regarding work, diet, exercise, or daily routines.

Finding balance is important. Saturn in the 6th house can create excellent organizational skills and the ability to master a craft through dedication.

Saturn in the 7th House

The 7th house represents relationships, marriage, and partnerships. Saturn in this house can indicate delays or challenges regarding commitment.

You do not take relationships lightly. You may be cautious about trusting others and prefer to choose a partner carefully rather than rush into commitment.

Relationships may feel like a serious responsibility, and you may attract partners who are older, mature, or who require patience and dedication.

Although marriage or commitment may happen later in life, Saturn in the 7th house often creates loyal and long-lasting partnerships. Once you commit, you are usually committed for the long term.

Saturn in the 8th House

The 8th house represents intimacy, transformation, shared resources, and psychological depth. Saturn in this house can indicate fears around vulnerability and emotional merging.

You may struggle with fully trusting others or allowing yourself to be deeply vulnerable. There can be hesitation around intimacy, sexuality, or sharing resources with another person.

This placement may indicate difficult experiences that force you to develop emotional strength and resilience.

Over time, Saturn in the 8th house can create someone with incredible psychological insight. You learn to face your fears and transform yourself through life experiences.

Saturn in the 9th House

The 9th house represents travel, higher education, religion, and philosophy. Saturn in this house can create a cautious or serious approach toward beliefs and learning.

You may question traditional beliefs rather than accepting them easily. Alternatively, you may have a very strong sense of duty toward your religion or philosophy.

Travel may involve responsibilities, work, or obstacles rather than being purely carefree. Higher education may require extra effort or may come later in life.

However, Saturn in the 9th house can create wisdom and a deep understanding of complex subjects. Your beliefs become stronger because they have been carefully examined.

Saturn in the 10th House

The 10th house represents career, reputation, and achievement. Saturn feels very comfortable in this house, as it naturally relates to ambition and responsibility.

You are highly ambitious and willing to work hard for success. However, your career path may involve delays, obstacles, or heavy responsibilities.

You may have difficult experiences with authority figures or feel pressure to achieve from a young age. Some people with this placement experience a strict or demanding parent.

Saturn rewards persistence, and many people with Saturn in the 10th house achieve significant success later in life.

Saturn in the 11th House

The 11th house represents friendships, groups, communities, and long-term goals. Saturn in this house can indicate difficulty finding your place socially.

You may prefer having a small, close circle rather than many friends. Large groups or superficial friendships may feel draining.

You take friendships seriously and value loyalty. It may take time to find people you truly connect with, but your friendships tend to be long-lasting.

This placement can also indicate slowly achieving your dreams through patience and persistence.

Saturn in the 12th House

The 12th house represents spirituality, dreams, the subconscious mind, and hidden emotions. Saturn in this house can indicate fears and restrictions involving your inner world.

You may carry hidden worries, feel isolated at times, or struggle with feelings that are difficult to express. You may absorb other people’s emotions and need plenty of solitude to recharge.

There can be skepticism toward spirituality, or alternatively, a deep sense of responsibility toward spiritual practices.

Saturn in the 12th house often becomes easier with age. Over time, this placement can create tremendous inner strength, spiritual wisdom, and the ability to overcome deep subconscious fears.

12th House Planets on the Ascendant: A Complete Guide

Do you have any natal planets conjunct your Ascendant? If so, are the planets in the 1st house, or the 12th house?

The 12th house rules all that is hidden. You keep aspects of your personality and life away in this house, and you only show these sides of yourself to those you trust completely. Even people who know you very well might not know this hidden side of you.

The 1st house, on the other hand, represents our persona. This part of us is in plain view to others. It is the mask we wear when we face the world. The energy of the first house planets will be very apparent to others. For example, if you have Mars conjunct your Ascendant in the first house, others will see you as a very assertive and action-oriented.

How do conjunctions from the 12th house to the Ascendant manifest?

Sun in the 12th house conjunct the Ascendant:

This aspect indicates you stand out to others and get attention easily. You appear quite confident and even intimidating. However, on the inside, you are very sensitive and dislike too much attention.

Others may see you as a social, outgoing person, but may be surprised at how much time you spend on your own.  You might feel that people who are close to you don’t really know the real you.

Moon in the 12th house conjunct the Ascendant:

This aspect indicates an emotional persona. You might not realize how much you wear your heart on your sleeve. The Moon in the 12th house wants to keep emotions hidden, but they might be written all over your face, for all to see. You may even have special psychic abilities, but you only tell people you really trust.

Mercury in the 12th house conjunct the Ascendant:

Mercury in the 12th house indicates you are very imaginative and intuitive. This aspect indicates people see you as very communicative and curious. However, you may feel that you are often misunderstood or misinterpreted by others, which may cause anxiety and insecurity.

You are likely much more quiet, emotional, and introspective in private that you are in public. Others may describe you as an intellectual and logical, but you might not see yourself that way.

Venus in the 12th house conjunct the Ascendant:

This placement can indicate you are a very attractive person.  12th house rules what is hidden, so you might not realize how attractive you are. You might have a interest in art, fashion, design, etc., which you keep hidden from others.

Mars in the 12th house conjunct the Ascendant:

The 12th house is a rather dreamy, impractical house that is not particularly action-oriented, so Mars feel stifled there.  The conjunction of Mars to your Ascendant means you come across as very strong and assertive, but inside, you are not as confident.

Perhaps others look to you as a leader, but you lack the self-assurance to believe in yourself as much as others do.  You might be a lot lazier and unmotivated than others think.

Jupiter in the 12th house conjunct the Ascendant:

Jupiter represents expansion, generosity, and optimism, so when it is conjunct to your Ascendant, a larger-than-life personality is indicated. You come across as very animated, fun-loving and happy to others, without really trying to.

People are drawn to you and find you warm and positive. Despite your big presence, you are sensitive and easy overwhelmed and need a lot of time alone.

Saturn in the 12th house conjunct the Ascendant:

This placement indicates you come across as very responsible and mature, but also perhaps cold and unfeeling, in reality, you are a very sensitive person who fears vulnerability. You might have an interest in 12th house activities, such as dreams, astrology, and helping the less fortunate, but you do not share this interest with others. Others find you very serious and cold, and you might not understand why.

Uranus in the 12th house conjunct the Ascendant:

A 12th house Uranus conjunct the Ascendant means you come across as quirky and eccentric without really even trying to.  You have a very rich inner world full of brilliant ideas, but keep these hidden from view. Others find you very interesting and engaging, but you are not sure why.

Neptune in the 12th house conjunct the Ascendant:

Neptune on the Ascendant can make it hard for you to define your own identity, and you may feel others do not understand you. You are a very sensitive, compassionate person with a rich imagination, but keep this side of yourself hidden from others.  You come across as very sweet and sensitive without trying to.

Pluto the 12th house conjunct the Ascendant:

Pluto on the Ascendant gives you a powerful, dominating presence. At the same time, you might not truly recognize the depth of your inner power, or the power you have over others. You might intimidate others without trying to. You bring extreme reactions out of others, and you don’t quite understand why.

Why Does Khloé Kardashian Keep Giving Love Another Chance?

We all know the Kardashians. They are American royalty in many respects: they get tons of attention in the media, are fashion icons, and people love to hate them. Love them or loathe them, everyone has an opinion on them. On the recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, they went over the drama that occurred between the family and Jordyn Woods (Kylie Jenner’s best friend) when Jordyn made out with Khloe’s baby daddy, Tristan.

It was well known to the family for a very long time that Tristan is unfaithful. He had previously cheated on Khloe when she was pregnant with their daughter, True. Instead of kicking him to the curb, she took him back, which was a huge shock to everyone.

She had been through rough relationships in the past, as well. She was previously in a relationship with Lamar Odom, but their relationship broke apart after his drug problem and infidelity became too much for their relationship to endure.

Khloe is known by her family and friends to be someone who works very hard in her relationships, and doesn’t let go very easily, even in the face of infidelity and terrible mistreatment.

On her Instagram, I’ve seen hundreds of comments of fans pleading with her to ‘smarten up’ and find a partner who will respect and love her as she deserves. In the end, however, Khloe always seems to make the ‘wrong’ choice and end up in these situations over and over again. Why is this?

Khloe’s Natal Chart

Khloe is a Cancer, a sign which is characterized as loving, caring, sensitive and co-dependent. Cancers are sweet as sugar, but if you cross them, you will get pinched. Her Sun is conjunct her natal Venus, which means she is a relationship-oriented individual. These types of people love to be in love and feel most complete when they are in a partnership. They are prone to loneliness and need to have a relationship to feel complete.

Her Ascendant is in Aquarius, meaning Leo is on the cusp of her descendant. This means that the Sun is the ruler of her 7th house. The 7th house ruler represents the type of partners we will attract in our lives. This planet, in addition to Venus, can be used to determine patterns in a person’s relationships. Unfortunately, Khloe has some pretty bad aspects to her Sun which explain her relationship past, and will inform her future in love.

Neptune, the planet which represents illusions, delusions, substance abuse, secrets and everything ‘behind the scenes’, opposes her natal Sun. People with this aspect tend to be forgiving to a fault, and tend to only see the best in others. They may attract or be attracted to partners who have mental or substance abuse problems, and feel a strong need to ‘save’ them. It is hard for them to let go, particularly when they feel their partners truly need them. They are vulnerable to manipulation due to their gullibility and inability to see the bad in others.

Khloe and Tristan’s Synastry

Looking at their synastry, there are some red flags that point to trouble. The Cancer-Pisces connection between their Suns is fabulous, as they are both very sensitive, emotional human beings. However, Tristan’s Uranus opposes Khloe’s Venus, which means that she will never feel he is truly committed to her. Their relationship will be very unpredictable and erratic, and she will not feel as though she can truly count on him. I saw an episode of the show where she was talking about how they don’t see each other too often & blamed it on his basketball schedule. From what their synastry tells me, Tristan experiences on-off feelings for her which prevents him from truly wanting to commit. If they were to rekindle their relationship, this will continue. Setting into a stable, predictable relationship will be very, very difficult with these two.

As if that was not bad enough, his Neptune also opposes her Venus. This is a classic indicator of deception and lies. This indicates that when caught, he may ‘play the victim’ to receive forgiveness from Khloe. It is very hard for her to see his negative qualities, and even if she does, she tends to ignore them. Tristan himself has a Venus-Neptune square in his natal chart, which means he is a very romantic, sensitive person, but has difficulty with honesty in his relationships. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has been in a relationship where he was lied/decieved/cheated on himself.

Khloe is not ‘stupid’ as most people believe, but she is delusional when it comes to her relationships. Unfortunately, this is not a quality she can just turn off, as it is in her natal chart. Given this, Khloe is doomed in her love life unless she makes some changes. She will continue to attract and enter relationships with deceptive individuals until she learns to LEAVE the men who exhibit deceptive, dishonest qualities. Given that she is forgiving (and quite honestly, very gullible), she needs to stop seeing her partners through rose-colored glasses. If she does not do this, she will continue to attract partners who cheat, lie and/or steal from her. She will continue to be with men who are deeply troubled or who she sees as ‘victim’ or ‘lost souls’ she needs to save.

I hope Khloe will soon find someone who truly loves her and exhibits the positive qualities of Neptune, such as compassion, sensitivity, and spiritual enlightenment. Her chart tells me she is an intensely spiritual individual, so she should focus on finding partners who share this quality with her. Good luck Khloe!

The Astrology of Beauty: The Most Attractive Placements

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It really is. Poll a group of people of what they think of a certain celebrity and you will get different results.

In this article, I am going to talk about traditional aspects which are said to point to beauty. This is not to say that everyone with these aspects will be drop-dead gorgeous, as the entire chart must be considered.

Venus-Ascendant aspects

This one is obvious. Venus is the sign of beauty, and the Ascendant & first house represent our physical appearance. Many people with this aspect are considered universally beautiful.

Think of Angelina Jolie (Venus conjunct Ascendant), Elizabeth Taylor (Venus trine Ascendant), Kim Kardashian (Venue square Ascendant), and Beyonce (Venus conjunct Ascendant).

Even if these people are not traditionally beautiful, there is a charm or air about them which is pleasing to others. They take care of themselves and care about the way they look. They are usually pleasant in nature, which makes them attractive to others.

Venus in the 1st house

This works very similarly the Venus-Ascendant aspects I mentioned above. With Venus in the house of appearance, beauty is usually indicated.

People with Venus in the 1st house were born to be beautiful! This aspect also indicates someone with a beautiful, proportionate body. Women with this aspect are usually quite curvy and sexy!

Celebrities with Venus in the 1st house are Kourtney Kardashian, Audrey Hepburn, George Clooney, Zayn Malik, and Blake Lively.

Venus in aspect to the ruler of the 1st house

To determine the ruler of your first house, first determine which sign is on the cusp of that house (or your ‘rising sign’).

For example, Scarlett Johansson’s rising sign is Sagittarius, and its ruling planet is Jupiter. Scarlett’s Jupiter is conjunct her Venus in her 2nd house. Kim Kardashian’s ascendant is also in Sagittarius, and her Jupiter makes a wide conjunction to her natal Venus.

Venus in aspect to the ruler of the 1st house works very similarly to aspects to the ascendant. When this occurs, it endows the person with beauty, charm and grace.

Neptune in the 1st house

Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, so it makes sense that it would indicate beauty.

I find that Neptune is a different type of beauty, though – Neptunian women and men are glamorous, other-wordly. They stand out and look different and can captivate others very easily.

So many beautiful women have this aspect, including Kim Kardashian, Marilyn Monroe, Ariana Grande, as well as handsome men such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Tom Cruise.

This aspect can also point to those who are very fond of plastic surgery, make up, and photoshop (Kylie Jenner has this aspect, and I mentioned Kim Kardashian above). Thus is because Neptune blurs the line between fantasy and reality. This can lead these folks to present an altered view of themselves to the world.

By the way, this also works if Neptune is in aspect to the Ascendant or is in aspect to the 1st house ruler. I have found that Pisces rising individuals have similar characteristics.

Venus-Neptune aspects

Over and over again, I keep seeing this aspect in the charts of supermodels and other ‘beautiful people’.

This aspects give the native an ethereal type of beauty that gets noticed. They are dreamy-looking and usually have beautiful eyes. I personally love their sense of style.

Sun conjunct Ascendant or Leo Ascendant

While this is not a traditional beauty indicator, I’ve noticed that people with predominant Sun energy tend to be very attractive.

Leos are known for being ‘attention-getters’. Given that the Sun is the ruler of Leo, individuals with their Sun on their Ascendant often share similar qualities to Leo Ascendant individuals. I’ve noticed with my Leo Ascendant friends that they tend to always get tons of attention.

I went to Las Vegas a few years ago with a group of friends, and one of them had a Leo Ascendant (and Leo Sun). She is very pretty, don’t get me wrong, but I was amazed at the amount of men chasing after her. She didn’t even have to do much – men would just flock to her like bees on honey.

Leos just have that certain ‘something something’ that attract others to them. Leo represents confidence & sass, and they exude these qualities to the rest of the world.

How you perceive yourself informs how others perceive you, so it’s easy to understand why Leos are so irresistible!

Famous Leo Ascendant individuals include Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, and Heidi Klum. Some celebs with Sun conjunct their Ascendant are Kourtney Kardashian and Scarlett Johansson.

ANYWAY, this is not an exhaustive list. I will continue to add to it as I observe more.

There are tons of women and men out there who do not have any of these aspects, but are beautiful! So, please don’t take this list as the be-all end-all for beauty 🙂

If you are interested in attracting a certain someone, it is way more important to look at how their planets aspect your planets. This will tell you if they are attracted to you!

For example, my Venus is in Capricorn, so I find people with their Ascendant in Capricorn, Virgo, or Taurus absolutely stunning, even more so than other Ascendant signs.

Sun in the Signs

Sun in Aries

Aries is the sign of the Child. Indeed, Aries men and women have a child-like quality, which can be quite endearing, or irritating, depending on who you ask!

Aries is symbolized by the “Ram”, as they go “head-first” into everything they do. They are active and energetic, as well as straight forward and very impatient. They tend to “act before they think”, both with their bodies and their tongues. Aries individuals tend to live in the “now”, meaning they move on quickly and tend not to plan ahead.

These individuals are known for their courage, independence, and “me”-centered philosophies on life.

As a Cardinal sign, Aries enjoys initiating activities, and loves to be the first to start activities. They are usually bold, and do not shy away from confrontation. In fact, a good conflict energizes Arians. They have quick tempers, but move on from their anger very quickly. This is not a sign that holds a grudge.

Famous people with their Sun in Aries: Mariah Carey, Russell Crowe, James Franco, Lady Gaga, Quentin Tarantino, Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Jessica Parker, Heath Ledger, and Marlon Brando.

Sun in Taurus

Taurus is symbolized by the “Bull”. Indeed, Solar Taureans are strong-willed, yet stubborn folk.

Taurus individuals are solid, dependable, and hard-working. They are sensual and pleasure-seeking, as in, they enjoy activities which tickle all the physical senses. They enjoy good food, good drink, comfortable surroundings, and picturesque views. Their pleasure-seeking behavior give Taureans the reputation of being the “hedonists” of the Zodiac.

Being an Earth sign, security is very important to them. Taurus rules the second house, the house of material possessions. Indeed, financial security is important to Taureans. Taurus men and women have fixed ideas, and it is next to impossible to change their minds once their minds are made up.

They also tend to hold on to grudges, and have a difficult time “letting go” of past hurts. Taureans are possessive folk; knowing something or someone is theirs gives them a great sense of  security.

Famous people with their Sun in Taurus: George Clooney, Uma Thurman, Al Pacino, Leonardo Da Vinci, Jessica Alba, Robert Pattinson, Michelle Pfeiffer, Penelope Cruz.

Sun in Gemini

Gemini is represented by the “twins”, which refers to their dual nature. Indeed, it is common to find two sides to a Gemini, each having a personality unlike the other.

Geminis enjoy communication and collecting information. They thrive on intellectual stimulation, and enjoy a good debate. They tend to bore easily due to their constant need to experiment, explore, and communicate.

As an mutable sign, they thrive on change and adapt to new people, places, and situations with ease. In keeping with their changeable natures, they tend to change their minds and feelings frequently.
Gemini is ruled by Mercury, a non-emotional, intellectual sign. As a result, they make friends easily, but are difficult to get close to.

They have a scattered energy about them; they tend to spread their energies wide to ensure a maximum amount of experiences. You’ll often find Geminis performing several tasks at once. Indeed, Geminis often “know a lot about everything, but a little about one thing”; they tend not to delve deeply into issues, but rather prefer skimming the surface.

Famous people with their Sun in Taurus: Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Nicole Kidman, Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Portman, John F. Kennedy, Paul McCartney, Rafael Nadal, Clint Eastwood.

Sun in Cancer

Cancers are represented by the “crab”,which refers to their self-respective and sensitive nature. Like the crab, Cancerian individuals often feel the need to withdraw into their shell when hurt. Alternatively, they may manipulate others to get what they want.

Cancers are slow to change, and have a deep connection to their families (especially their mothers), their roots, and tradition. In addition to being protective of themselves, they are also protective over their loved ones.

Cancerian individuals tend to be indirect, and dislike confrontation.

Cancers are the “mothers” of the zodiac. They are incredibly hospitable and nurturing, as well as caring and dependable.

Famous people with their Sun in Cancer: Pamela Anderson, Princess Diana of Wales, Tom Cruise, Prince William, Gisele Bundchen, George W. Bush, Tom Hanks, Lindsay Lohan, Meryl Streep, Sylvester Stallone, Harrison Ford, Selena Gomes, Jessica Simpson.

Sun in Leo

Leo is symbolized by the Lion, a majestic creature heralded for its courage, pride, and authority over the rest of the animal kingdom. Indeed, Leos are known for their excellent leadership abilities, which is strengthened by their noble manners and charismatic personalities. In fact, many prominent leaders have their Sun in Leo.

Leos are known for their narcissistic tendencies and their great sense of self-importance. However, Leos have a great desire to improve the world they live in, fueled by their love for others.

As the natural ruler of the 5th house of fun, romance, risk-taking, and creative expression, Leos are attracted to the good things in life and have no problem being in the spotlight. Despite this, Leos are incredibly hard-working individuals, just like their animal counterpart.

Leos need plenty of attention and appreciation to stay happy. Like the lion, Leos are loyal, traditional people, and often blame themselves when something goes wrong.

Famous people with their Sun in Leo: Barack Obama, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Sandra Bullock, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert Redford, Whitney Houston, Ed Norton, Halle Berry, Mick Jagger, Daniel Radcliffe.

Sun in Virgo

Virgo is symbolized by the “virgin”. No, that does not mean Virgoan men and women are celibate. Rather, they tend to emit a pure and natural energy to the rest of the world.

Virgos are known for their incredible work ethic, detail orientation, and skepticism. As an Earth sign, they tend to trust what they can sense, and require tangible proof of a thought, idea, or belief before changing their minds.

Virgoan individuals are concerned with organization. Even if a Virgo is not stereotypically neat and tidy, they are usually organized. Virgos are sensitive to their environments, and tend to embarrass easily.

Virgos have a strong need to be productive. They are not the ones to laze about and do nothing all day. They have a fear of under-performing, and take great care they are doing their work with the utmost efficacy and accuracy.

Virgos are generally very body-aware, sometimes to the point of developing hypochondriac tendencies. They prefer eating clean, healthy foods and living natural lifestyles. Virgos are also known for being perfectionists, as they strive for mastery over any subject they take interest in.

Famous people with their Sun in Virgo: Michael Jackson, Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, Beyonce Knowles, Richard Gere, Prince Harry of Wales, Salma Hayek, Sofia Loren, Hugh Grant, Claudia Schiffer, Jason Statham, River Phoenix, Charlie Sheen, Colin Firth, Warren Buffett.

Sun in Libra

Libra is represented by the scales, which represents Libra’s need for balance, harmony, and fairness in the world he or she lives in. Indeed this need for balance adds to their indecisiveness; other than taking a stand on an issue, Libras often prefer taking the “middle road”, thereby not taking a side at all.

Libras are social, intellectual beings. They dislike confrontation, and may even choose to lie in order to avoid rocking the boat. They are fond of socializing, and often have a wide group of friends.

Ruled by Venus, Libras often get the reputation for being superficial. It is not uncommon for Librans to choose friends based on their superficial qualities (i.e. looks).

As the natural ruler of the 7th house, Libras are naturally partnership-oriented. Their primary concern is how they relate to others and the rest of the world. In fact, Libras often dislike being alone. Having a partner makes them feel complete.

Famous people with their Sun in Libra: Zac Efron, Matt Damon, Eminem, John Lennon, Susan Sarandon, Kim Kardashian, Kate Winslet, Katherine Zeta-Jones, Christopher Reeve.

Sun in Scorpio

The Scorpion, the symbol of Scorpio, is a vengeful, cunning creature. Indeed, you would be wise not to bring out their dark sides. Like the Scorpion, Scorpio natives have amazing regenerative powers.

Scorpios are very determined, resourceful people who put their 100% into everything they do, whether it’s work, finances, or love. Being a fixed sign, it can be difficult to get them to to anything they don’t want to do. This is a sign that is not intimidated easily, and do not shy away from confrontation.

Ruled by Pluto, the god of the underworld, Scorpios desire power and control. They are great at getting it, too, due to their tremendous willpower and patience. Scorpios are incredibly curious people, with a strong investigative spirit.

Superficiality simply won’t do for these folk; they love to probe and get to the heart of the matter, rather than simply skimming the surface.

Scorpios have an unmistakably intense and complex nature. They are secretive and suspicious, and can “see right through you”. Don’t try to fool them, because it simply will not work. They are unafraid of loss and can become vengeful if you cross them.

Famous people with their Sun in Scorpio: Leonardo Dicaprio, Jodie Foster, Julia Roberts, Bill Gates, Demi Moore, Hillary Clinton, Aishwarya Rai, Katy Perry, Gerard Butler, Shahrukh Khan, Ryan Gosling, Winona Ryder.

Sun in Sagittarius

Sagittarius is symbolized by the Centaur, the half-man, half-beast creature of mythology. This represents the animalistic and spiritual side of human beings.

While Centaurs are described as adventurous, wise, and courageous, they are also described as uncivilized and combative.

Sagittarians are restless, enthusiastic, open, and friendly. They love their freedom, which makes settling down into a routine very difficult. Due to their open and affectionate natures, they easily make friends from all walks of life.

Sagittarians are known for being gullible, due to their trusting natures. They are blindly optimistic at times, which gives them the reputation of being unrealistic.
Being a fire sign, Sagittarians have quick tempers, but the fire dies down very quickly. Most of the time, they are playful, flirtatious and open.

Being a mutable sign, Sagittarians are also known for their “flakiness”, i.e. their inability to follow through with plans. You know that friend you made plans with, but canceled at the last minute? She might be a Sagittarius.

Sagittarians “go with the flow”, and are fickle by nature. As a result, they tend to change their minds quickly.
You know that friend who always gets herself in trouble from speaking her mind too much? She might be a Sagittarius.

People with this Sun sign are incredibly opinionated, and love giving their two cents on practically anything, even if the conversation has nothing to do with them. Sagittarians are famous for their blunt manner.

They tend not to sugar coat what they say, which can be offensive to others. Sagittarians do not mean any harm, however; they truly believe honesty is the best policy, even if their manner is forceful and direct.

Ruled by Jupiter, Sagittarians have a love of travel, philosophy, and religion. They tend to look at the “big picture”, and gloss over minor details. It is common for Sagittarians to take on tasks of Herculean proportions, only to leave them unfinished once they have found something more interesting.

In keeping with the Jupiterian quality of abundance, Sags often exaggerate when declaring their outspoken beliefs and ideas. In addition, Sags are also known for their unmistakable generosity.

 Sun in Capricorn

Capricorn is symbolized by the goat, the introverted, lone creature, who slowly, but surely move through life.

Ruled by Saturn, the planet of realism, Capricorns have a grounded approach to life. They tend to engage in only things they see as “worthwhile”; Capricorns detest wasting their time on ineffective activities.

More specifically, they have a disdain for the superficial or frivolous. This applies to their careers, friendships, and relationships. They base their choices on long-term considerations and tradition, as well as the way the choices will make them “look” to others.

As the natural ruler of the 10th house of career and notoriety, their public image and social status are important to them. They have no qualms about working hard, as long as there is a pay-off in the end. Success and money are the main driving factors of Capricorn’s work ethic. Indeed, Capricorns are often referred to as the “businesspeople of the Zodiac.”

Despite their practicality and serious natures, Capricorns are known for their sense of humor, which is dry and sarcastic. Their delivery is great; they have the ability to keep a straight face, even while telling a joke.

Famous people with Sun in Capricorn: Michelle Obama, Martin Luther King, Elvis Presley, Orlando Bloom, Jude Law, Mel Gibson, Kate Moss, Jared Leto, Cary Grant, Nicholas Cage.

Sun in Aquarius

Aquarius is symbolized by the water bearer. Disappointed your sign doesn’t have some cool animal to represent it? Don’t be. Water washes away the past and makes room for a clean start. Water gives life to the world, just like Aquas’ visionary and growth-oriented approach to life helps the world move forward.

Indeed, Aquas are known for their humanitarianism and desire to make the world a better place.

Ruled by Uranus, the planet of rebellion, Aquas move to the beat of their own drum. They’re not afraid to stand out from the crowd. In fact, they thrive on their uniqueness and willingness to not follow the beaten path.

Aquas are intellectual (even genius), clever, and friendly, though aloof and detached. Even though they are open-minded, they are fixed in their opinions, and love thinking they are right. They shun tradition and embrace anything that is new, exciting, and inventive. Because of their emotional detachment and intellectualism, they are skilled at the art of debate.

As the natural ruler of the 11th house of friendships, Aquas generally have a wide group of friends from all walks of life. They  see everyone as equals, and tend not to give anyone special treatment. Indeed, it’s common to see an Aqua helping a complete stranger as readily as helping a long-time friend.

Aquas have a tremendous need for freedom, which makes it difficult for them to settle down into a stable routine.

Sun in Pisces

Pisces is symbolized by the fish. Fish swim in opposite directions, which relates to Pisces’ feeling of always being pulled in two directions, making decision-making very difficult.

Being a mutable sign, Pisceans are adaptable to different types of people and places. They tend to find something they like about everyone they meet.

Ruled by Neptune, the planet of dreams, Pisceans give off a spacey, other-worldly vibe. They are incredibly sensitive and compassionate people who shy away from confrontation. Their compassion is often so strong, that they might tell a lie in order to spare the other person’s feelings.

Pisceans cannot stand to hurt you; they are easily affected by human suffering. For this reason, Pisceans also have a difficult time saying “no”, and readily take on the role of the martyr..

The world is a harsh, cold place, which can be difficult to handle for compassionate, sensitive Pisces. Pisceans escape the world through their dreams and through self-delusion and escapist tendencies. In fact, it can be difficult for a Piscean to distinguish fact from reality. When hurt, Pisces will withdraw into their private, inner world, and wallow in their self-pity. But fear not: these episodes are regenerative to Pisces’ well-being.

As the natural ruler of the 12th house, Pisceans are secretive and spiritual. It is not uncommon for Pisceans to be described as chameleon-like and changeable, in keeping with their mutable nature.
